Thursday, April 16. Hoping for some rain from these clouds, but only a few sprinkles.
Mother Nature keeps tempting us. There was a promise of rain today in central Texas, and some areas did indeed get some. But, alas, by our house in Georgetown, we saw only sprinkles.
Despite beautiful stormy clouds that hung low over the neighborhood, these did little for anything except make good photos. Yes, it was good for the state soccer tournament being held down the road, as thunder and lightning can quickly put the kibosh on the sport. And I know they say we’re doing pretty good prcipitation-wise in our area. But I really would like to have seen a good downpour.
Oh well. Maybe tomorrow?

C’mon clouds, let it pour!
What’s that at the left? Sun peeking through the clouds? Say it ain’t so.
And in an instant, the clouds were gone and blue sky was abundant.
Chocolate Chips and Chaos 
We got ALL your rain. And some other’s too. I’ve not had to do any watering in my garden and the rain barrels are full. Not complaining!

I saw the Houston area got more than we did. I took the photos from a second-story window. I actually slid the glass out so I didn’t have to worry about a glare.
