2015_Day 21: Rush hour just another part of new life

So, the traffic I'm behind in this photo is just the frontage road. Interstate traffic is to the far left.

Fortunately, I haven’t had to navigate a lot of rush hour traffic between Austin and Georgetown. Until tonight.

I’m guessing it can be a lot worse, too. My drive home tonight took 40 minutes, 15 minutes longer than normal. There were no accidents or stalled cars or even cars stopped by police, so I’m thankful, because I’m sure that would have made it a lot worse.

But I’m wondering, does one ever really get used to rush hour driving?

The rain didn't help the evening commute. Lots of taillights and headlights among the raindrops.
