Finally got some annuals planted in the small, squarish spot in front of the house between the garage and front step. I decided to go with these beautiful light and bright pink Gerbera daisies I found last night at Home Depot. I just love the colors against the dark brown mulch and gray cement of the house, driveway and front walk.

I wish I would have thought to buy more mulch when I was at Home Depot, though. If you look closely in the upper right of the top right photo above, you can see where the new mulch ends and the old mulch begins. I need another three or four bags to fill out the entire area. Plus, I should probably add more to the new trees planted in the front yard last summer.

I’m really enjoying this time of year. Can’t believe how pretty everything is!
