This photo was taken late in the morning before the busyness of the day took over (soccer and truck shopping). Overnight Friday, three more pea seedlings pushed their way through the dirt, reaching up to the beautiful blue sky that ushered in Saturday.

By the time we got home, it was way past dark, so it will be tomorrow before I can check to see how much the garden actually grew. With sun all day long and temperatures in the low 80s, I’m hoping a lot more peas, beans, cucumbers, onions and flowers found their way up out of the dirt to enjoy the warmth.
