2015_Day 117: Tomato flowers galore

Lots of splashes of yellow in the garden today. The cherry tomatoes, they are finally flowering.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again. The leaves on the crape myrtle tree sure are pretty.

Just love the deep red/purple mixed with the green.

Want more blossoms? Save and bake egg shells, the pulverize and work into the soil around your tomato plant. The extra calcium will result in more blossoms a/k/a/ more fruit.

I can’t believe it…I’m already pulling cherry variety off my two plants! The romas are not too far behind. Of course, I bought mine as nursery plants already a foot tall. That helps for the head start.
