Going on three weeks and still battling this lovely rash that has decided my body is a good place to call home. Although the prednisone the doctor prescribed seemed to work for awhile, that ship has sailed. The big, itchy welts have been replaced by a lot more tiny ones — on a lot more if my body.

Another visit to the doctor today resulted in another anti-itch prescription and a referral to a dermatologist. Doctor hopes that doubling up on an anti-histamine (prescription-strength at night, OTC variety in mirning) will hope with the itch in the meantime. He’s not the only one! Daughter threatened me with taping oven mitts on my hands if she saw me scratching. But it’s so hard — the itch is terrible at times!
