It won’t be long before my wandering pumpkin takes over a second raised bed area in my garden. Yes, Wanda is growing by leaps and bounds. The phrase definitely describes Wanda to a tee, stretching (I’d say anyway) as much as a foot in the past five days.

You can see in the photo above that Wanda doesn’t have far to go to reach the cedar divider between the beds. And if the other surviving pumpkin (yet to be named) keeps it up, it will soon be joining Wanda in exploring new territory. I knew I wasn’t paying a lot of attention to the marigolds and zinnias in the outside bed for a reason. There won’t be room for them once the pumpkins take over!
