I am really loving this warm stretch of weather we’ve been having in central Texas. Sunny and in the mid-60s, this weekend was perfect. I did a little Christmas shopping, cleaned up one of my flower beds and added more holiday decorations to the front of the house–all in short sleeves. Even darn dog Chloe enjoyed the warmth, basking in the sun and rolling in the grass. It was a fantastic weekend all around.
My light-stringing skills leave a bit to be desired (too many holes with no lights), but hey, it’s the first time I’ve strung lights outside from quite high on a ladder. I promise I’ll get better next year.
I love your decorations! 🙂

Thank you! I’m still a little stuck on fall/Thanksgiving with the pumpkins, but they aren’t rotten yet, so I don’t want to throw them out. I am thinking about painting them white and stacking them to create a snowman. Think that would work?

That would be awesome. That reminds me of that old Jack Frost cartoon with the “grizzly, grizzly bear”! 🙂
